President – CEO – Executive Producer

From humble beginnings as an infant who could neither walk nor read, Brent grew into a promising adult with a penchant for nightclubs. He was soon onstage entertaining audiences with his stand-up comedy. He is commonly referred to as "one of the funniest men in the country" and has indeed represented Canada in numerous international festivals as well as touring coast to coast many times over. He parlayed his success as an entertainer into a position of writing and producing television projects. From there, he created the sitcom Corner Gas for CTV and The Comedy Network, and that show would become an instant hit. It's said to be the most successful sitcom in Canadian history, and was the #1 comedy on television (ahead of all sitcoms imported from the U.S.A…. that just doesn’t happen up here.) As Executive Producer, Writer, Star and sometimes Director, Brent was at the helm of Corner Gas for six seasons and 107 episodes, before deciding to end the show's impressive run. He is now hard at work on many new projects, with more in development. If this keeps up, he’ll have to buy a second suit.
